Difficulties
Encountered in this Year's Program:
-
Panelists
did not receive a full copy of the program from the General Program
Chair and the room assignments for the program were not on the Web.
-
Changes
we would like to see on the Web page.
-
Delayed
submission of the Phi Alpha Theta Panels for the History
Program: a) PAT sessions make up almost half of our
panels; b) The PAT co-ordinator does more work than any of the other
area co-ordinators; c) Suggestion for discussion: to
relieve this burden, area co-ordinators should assume responsibility
for organizing graduate student panels.
-
I
used bulk mailing for the panels and that did not seem to work -- we
should regular mail the information.
-
Greater
accountability for attendance: ( a) See errata page
[not in files]; (b) Do we want to survey panel chairs for
participation and attendance?
-
Other
suggestions
Respectfully
submitted - Joan E Supplee (Baylor)
