to 1200 words. Please do not go
over the maximum length without first contacting the editor.
- The book review should contain an overview of the
scope, purpose, and content of the volume together with an analysis of the
author’s success or failure to achieve his or her stated objectives.
- The reviewer should avoid personal or intemperate
remarks or comments and confine the assessment to a fair treatment of the
author and the book produced.

minor flaws unless they contribute in a substantial way to the value of
the book.
- At the close of your review your name and
affiliation should be placed on separate, double-spaced lines and right
